TOWA: Modern Japanese Cuisine

At the end of February on a Tuesday night, two psychologists, a lawyer, an epidemiologist, a scientist/research grant writer, and a future nurse (me) met for dinner at Towa.  At Towa, the eight-course pre-fixe menu inclusive of dessert is $95pp.  It was reasonably priced for a fine-dining Japanese dinner experience.

To start, the decor and ambiance were elegant and simple.  Each of the dishes was thoughtfully and colorfully designed. Please click the link below for pictures of the environment and dishes I'm referring to.  Of course, the meal was filled with different textures, tastes, and visually appealing dishes.  All of it was very interesting, eye-opening, and tasty.  Time was relative, the company was amazing, and the food experience was akin to a journey through cultures and food in a time capsule.

I send a big thanks to my group's organizer for coordinating such a wonderful dinner.  I highly encourage you to reserve a seat or table at TOWA. There's nothing with sitting by yourself- its rewarding yourself for your accomplishments, its true love, a gift to yourself.
