Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum NYC

42nd Street Times Square in the city is bustling with tourists and NYers every day.  It is one of the most famous destinations and hosts many other celebrated sites.  One of them is Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.  If you’re into seeing some of your favorite childhood artists and celebrities as close to in the flesh as possible, then this is the attraction for you.

Madame Tussaud’s is a magical place. I was in awe of the wax figures because they looked so life-like and reminded me of some of my favorite childhood memories in time.  Some of the wax figures are spot on.  Some of them not so much, but this is a minimal occurrence. You will see artists, celebrities, and important figures like Michael Jackson, Sandra Bullock, Judy Garland, ET, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lucille Ball, Pablo Picasso, Princess Diana, Kamala Harris, Priyanka Chopra, Stan Lee, AVICII, The Obama’s, President Clinton, Abraham Lincoln, Taylor Swift, and the list goes on and on.  Each figure is expertly placed in a current time period and a relevant setting.  This is what makes the experience so dynamic and utterly wonderful.

Admission to the Wax Museum starts at $43.99 pre-tax and it includes access to watch the featured film, Marvel Universe 4D.   While we didn’t get to watch the film, as the worker who hands out 4D glasses was not available, my fiance and I still felt like it was worth it.  You can also ask the front desk when you go to provide you with 4D glasses to watch the movie! It’s a must-see wonder and 42nd Street is the epicenter of entertainment.  There is so much to do afterward, even if it is just window shopping.  Our next affordable trip is 10 minutes away and it is a lunch spot called NY Pizza Suprema (see Food Reviews for this blog article). I also plan itineraries for affordable NY trips with you in mind.  For more info, please see my Patreon page on the top left corner of my webpage.
