NYC has many gems to offer. Laughter is the best medicine. As cliche as it sounds, happiness is nature's best defense against stress. Laughter and happiness are one of the best translations of self-care/self-love. You're probably thinking, ok thats great and all, but how can I get the free comedy tickets?
Eventbrite is a great website where you can search for any event tickets at any price at any time as long as you have access to a computer. Type "comedy club" in the event type and check off "free" on the left-hand side of the site under the price. Click search.

What many don't know is that comedy clubs throughout NYC offer free comedy club tickets on weekdays, except weekend. The shows may not be great because they are free or they may be amazing. So far, I have been to both paid and free shows and they were both great.
Recommendations:
-NY Comedy: As of 2023, offers free tickets to their comedy shows on Thursdays; 1 drink minimum pp. To make it even cheaper, get water as your drink minimum!!! Outsmart the system!
-Broadway Comedy Club great shows as well every day of the week; 2 drink minimum pp.
